Initiatives program

IDPs initiatives program is a part of Manarat Sinjar organization for Development to develop in the host, and IDPs communities, it is planning to implement the mentioned project for developing the capacity building of the IDPs youth in the area. The project is focusing in the most important skills, which all youth needs for brighter future that are attention to IDPs initiatives and implemented for them . This project is trying to implement more 30 activities (Training ,workshops , seminars , sessions, campaigns, and activities) for 1200 participants in 2 camps 600 participants from the each IDPs camp. All initiatives will be implement to support capacity building and provide psycho social support for IDPs .Youth of IDPs community indirectly will be part of this development, as the participants will make a groups to allow more IDPs participate

Project Location : Duhok Government - Kabarto1 and Kabarto2 camp 

Project objectives 

• Developing Youth abilities and skills.
• Building a group of IDPs can provide services for their community.
• Strengthening ties among IDPs community.
• Make a good environment for Youth to rise their awareness
• Train them on Non formal education method.
• Motivate IDPs to be more creative.
• Raise IDPs ability to management and organizing small projects .
• Make youth leader have knowledge and good background .
• Teach the participants on life skills .
• Raise youth job opportunities .

Beneficiaries: 1200 participants will participated . Each IDPs camp 600 participants .There will be equality in gender 50%

females and 50% males ( 600 males , 600 females) from the age 4 to 40. In addition, and 12 trainers.The participants will make groups each group will be (10 person) that main more 150 IDPs inside groups will benefit too from this project .

Moreover, the IDPs community will take benefit from the participants skills they gained from the project when they start to work.
